Garlic Scape Pesto
There is always an abundance of garlic scapes in early summer. I always hear people asking what they should do with their scapes! This is a delicious spread that takes minutes! We call this the detox pesto!
30 garlic scapes4-5 whole garlic heads - broken into clovesa huge bunch of chard 3#6 cups extra virgin olive oil¼ # basil
Blend it all in a food processor and freeze in small containers to last you the whole year round.
